                             SUMMARY

introduced.

  Directs Oregon Health Authority to establish and maintain
children's psychiatric access telephone line.

                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to a children's psychiatric access telephone line.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1.  { + (1) The Oregon Health Authority shall establish
and maintain a children's psychiatric access telephone line
program that:
  (a) Provides assistance to primary care physicians of children
from birth to 18 years of age;
  (b) Is accessible Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9
a.m. and 5 p.m.;
  (c) Is accessible throughout this state;
  (d) Provides face-to-face consultation for patients who have a
high level of need; and
  (e) Provides face-to-face consultation by electronic means for
patients in rural settings.
  (2) The authority may accept gifts, grants or contributions
from any public or private source for the purpose of carrying out
this section. + }
