                        SENATE BILL 5518

              By JOINT COMMITTEE ON WAYS AND MEANS

  Delete lines 5 and 6 of the printed bill and insert:
  '  { +  SECTION 1. + }  { + There is appropriated to the
Department of Justice, for the biennium beginning July 1, 2011,
out of the General Fund, the amount of $52,698,545. The
department may expend up to 54 percent of the amount appropriated
under this section during the period beginning July 1, 2011, and
ending June 30, 2012. + } ' .
  In line 8, delete '$220,424,143' and insert ' $225,311,540'.
  In line 13, delete '$114,083,393' and insert ' $108,482,775'.
  After line 21, insert:
  '  { +  SECTION 7. + }  { + For the biennium beginning July 1,
2011, expenditures passed through as special payments for other
recipients, primarily district attorneys, for child support
federal funds and incentive federal funds are not limited. + } '
.
  In line 22, delete '7' and insert '8'.
