Summary
Proposes amendment to Oregon Constitution directing Legislative Assembly, notwithstanding any provision of Ballot Measure 50 (1997), to enact laws necessary to ensure that property taxes are equitable and fairly apportioned. Provides that such legislation is not subject to constitutional emergency declaration prohibition. Refers proposed amendment to people for their approval or rejection at next regular general election.
