Summary

Modifies culpable mental state for crime of unauthorized use of a vehicle when person takes, operates, exercises control over or otherwise uses vehicle, boat or aircraft without consent of owner. Removes riding in vehicle, boat or aircraft without consent of owner as manner of committing crime. Renames crime as unauthorized use of a vehicle in the first degree. Creates crime of unauthorized use of a vehicle in the second degree applicable to persons riding in vehicle, boat or aircraft without consent of owner. Punishes by maximum of 364 days' imprisonment, $6,250 fine, or both.
