| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased commend the Isabelle Ridgway Care Center on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and |
| WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is, indeed, a fitting tribute to the Isabelle Ridgway Care Center, for over the past one hundred years, it has achieved a praiseworthy record of service in the Greater Columbus area. Founded on September 15, 1912, the not-for-profit, long-term care center has undergone many relocations but has remained at its present site at 1520 Hawthorne Avenue since 1976, and it provides compassionate, culturally appropriate, family-friendly care and services to the aging population of Central Ohio while serving as a teaching and research facility dedicated to the field of gerontology; and |
| WHEREAS, The success of the Isabelle Ridgway Care Center is a justifiable source of pride and a fine reflection not only on the organization itself but also on its astute management and hard-working employees. Due to their vision and initiative, this respected institution has earned the gratitude and appreciation of many satisfied residents, and it is truly deserving of high praise; and |
| WHEREAS, Over the years, the Isabelle Ridgway Care Center has enhanced the quality of life within the surrounding area. We are certain that as this worthy enterprise maintains its dedication to service and achievement, it will continue to prosper and will uphold the tradition of excellence that has long been its hallmark; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate the Isabelle Ridgway Care Center on its One Hundredth Anniversary and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Isabelle Ridgway Care Center. |
