A RESOLUTION

Honoring Hannah Campbell as a 2014 Division II State Track and Field Champion.

       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Hannah Campbell on her exemplary performance at the 2014 Division II State Track and Field Meet; and

       WHEREAS,  Hannah Campbell's accomplishments are truly noteworthy, for she has clearly demonstrated her talent and perseverance, as well as her mental and physical fortitude as a runner. A senior at River Valley High School, she placed first in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 10:40.66 at this year's Division II State Track and Field Meet, and she has exemplified all of the characteristics that are essential for success both in and out of the sports world, including courage, integrity, and an innate sense of the principles of good sportsmanship; and 

       WHEREAS,  By developing such remarkable prowess, Hannah Campbell has earned the appreciation of her fellow athletes, the devotion of countless fans, and the respect of even her most determined rivals. Her outstanding record of achievement stands as a hallmark worthy of emulation, and she has inspired countless individuals to excel in numerous areas of endeavor; and

       WHEREAS,  Running is an event that requires exceptional stamina and natural ability, and Hannah Campbell is to be acknowledged for her commitment to this demanding activity. In attaining her athletic goals, she has certainly distinguished herself as a true champion; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Hannah Campbell on her State Track and Field Championship title and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Hannah Campbell.
