A RESOLUTION

Honoring Emma Donelle Rofkar as the 2014 Miss Ohio Teen USA.

       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Emma Donelle Rofkar on being crowned Miss Ohio Teen USA for 2014; and

       WHEREAS,  An intelligent, poised, and motivated young woman, Emma Rofkar has developed her knowledge and skills and has striven to meet challenges with enthusiasm and confidence. A junior at Genoa High School, she has displayed an exceptional willingness to work hard to attain superior results, and consequently, she has been selected as the 2014 Miss Ohio Teen USA, qualifying her for the Miss Teen USA Pageant; and 

       WHEREAS,  Emma Rofkar has derived extra energy from her many activities and accomplishments, and her integrity and steadfast determination are truly admirable. Indeed, her amiable style will carry her far beyond this event and will be of great value to her in the years to come; and

       WHEREAS,  The achievements of Emma Rofkar are a justifiable source of pride not only for her family and friends but also for the entire Curtice and Genoa communities. She has shown a sincere desire to fully develop her talents so that she might fulfill her goals in the future, and this, coupled with her maturity and initiative, shows her potential to become one of tomorrow's leaders; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Emma Donelle Rofkar on her recent accolade and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Emma Donelle Rofkar.
