To enact section 5.2268 of the Revised Code to 1
designate September 23 as "Hereditary 2
Hemochromatosis Awareness Day."3


BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

       Section 1. That section 5.2268 of the Revised Code be enacted 4
to read as follows:5

       Sec. 5.2268.  The twenty-third day of September is designated 6
as "Hereditary Hemochromatosis Awareness Day" to increase public 7
awareness and understanding of this genetic disorder that causes 8
individuals to absorb and retain excess iron.9
