A BILL
To enact sections 5533.781 and 5533.782 of the 1
Revised Code to designate the "Persian Gulf 2
Veterans Bridge" and the "Iraq and Afghanistan 3
Veterans Bridge" within the municipal corporation 4
of Niles in Trumbull County.5


BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

       Section 1. That sections 5533.781 and 5533.782 of the Revised 6
Code be enacted to read as follows:7

       Sec. 5533.781. The bridge spanning the mosquito creek, 8
located within the municipal corporation of Niles in Trumbull 9
county and being part of the highway known as state route number 10
forty-six and state route number one hundred sixty-nine, and 11
having a scheduled completion date of approximately November of 12
the year 2013, shall be known as the "Persian Gulf Veterans 13
Bridge."14

        The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 15
upon the bridge or its approaches indicating its name.16

       Sec. 5533.782. The bridge spanning the Mahoning river, 17
located within the municipal corporation of Niles in Trumbull 18
county and being part of the highway known as state route number 19
forty-six, commencing at the intersection of that state route and 20
the road known as west state street southeast to the west of that 21
state route and as east state street southeast to the east of that 22
state route and proceeding in a southerly direction to the 23
intersection of that state route and the road known as west first 24
street to the west of that state route and as east first street to 25
the east of that state route, shall be known as the "Iraq and 26
Afghanistan Veterans Bridge."27

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 28
upon the bridge or its approaches indicating its name. 29
