BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That section 101.533 of the Revised Code be | 5 |
enacted to read as follows: | 6 |
Sec. 101.533. The main operating appropriations bill shall | 7 |
not contain appropriations for the department of education, the | 8 |
Ohio board of regents, or any other state agency established | 9 |
solely to carry out functions related to primary or secondary | 10 |
education or higher education. Appropriations for these agencies | 11 |
shall be enacted in a separate bill prior to the enactment of the | 12 |
main operating appropriations bill, appropriations bills for the | 13 |
industrial commission and the bureau of workers' compensation, and | 14 |
any other biennial operating appropriations bill. | 15 |
