        AN ACT to amend the real property tax law, in relation to providing that
          state lands within the Eastport-South Manor  Central  School  District
          are subject to taxation for school purposes
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. Paragraphs (e) and (f) of subdivision 1 of section  536  of
     2  the real property tax law, paragraph (e) as amended by section 4 of part
     3  CC  of  chapter  58  of  the  laws of 2018 and paragraph (f) as added by
     4  section 1 of part W of chapter 62 of the laws of 2006,  are  amended  to
     5  read as follows:
     6    (e) Lands owned by the state, within the core preservation area of the
     7  Central Pine Barrens area as described and bounded by subdivision eleven
     8  of section 57-0107 of the environmental conservation law, situate in the
     9  following school districts:

     6    (f) Lands owned by the state, outside of the core preservation area of
     7  the  Central  Pine  Barrens area as described and bounded by [paragraph]
     8  subdivision eleven of section 57-0107 of the environmental  conservation
     9  law, situate in the Riverhead central school district within the town of
    10  Riverhead, county of Suffolk and the Eastport-South Manor central school
    11  district  within  the  towns  of  Brookhaven  and Southampton, county of
    12  Suffolk, where the title holder is listed as the "State of New York" [on
    13  the town of Riverhead's assessment roll as of March sixteenth, two thou-
    14  sand six].
    15    § 2. This act shall take effect on the first of April next  succeeding
    16  the date on which it shall have become a law; provided, however, that if
    17  part CC of chapter 58 of the laws of 2018 shall not have taken effect on
    18  or  before  such  date then section one of this act shall take effect on
    19  the same date and in the same manner as such  chapter  of  the  laws  of
    20  2018, takes effect.
