STATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 8209 IN SENATE October 28, 2016 ___________ Introduced by Sen. LATIMER -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules AN ACT to amend the real property tax law, in relation to taxation of state lands in the town of Bedford in Westchester county The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Section 532 of the real property tax law is amended by 2 adding a new subdivision (k) to read as follows: 3 (k) All lands owned by the state in the town of Bedford in Westchester 4 county, inclusive of the improvements erected thereon. 5 § 2. Paragraph (b) of subdivision 1 of section 536 of the real proper- 6 ty tax law is amended to read as follows: 7 (b) Lands owned by the state, exclusive of the improvements erected 8 thereon by the state, situate in the following towns: 9 County Town 10 Cattaraugus Carrollton 11 Cold Spring 12 Elko 13 Great Valley 14 Red House 15 Salamanca 16 South Valley 17 Clinton Ellenburg 18 Dutchess Hyde Park 19 Poughkeepsie 20 Greene Coxsackie 21 Oneida Lee 22 Marcy 23 Trenton 24 Western 25 Orange Highlands 26 Tuxedo EXPLANATION--Matter in italics (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [] is old law to be omitted.
