        Introduced  by  Sen.  LITTLE -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Corporations,  Authorities
          and Commissions
        AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation to providing for
          the financing and construction of facilities by the dormitory authori-
          ty for North Country School
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. Paragraph (b) of subdivision  2  of  section  1676  of  the
     2  public authorities law is amended by adding a new undesignated paragraph
     3  to read as follows:
     4    North  Country  School,  Lake  Placid,  New York, for the acquisition,
     5  financing and/or refinancing, design, construction,  renovation,  recon-
     6  struction, development, improvement, furnishing, expansion and/or equip-
     7  ping  of  a  facility  or facilities and necessary ancillary and related
     8  facilities.
     9    § 2. Subdivision 1 of section 1680 of the public  authorities  law  is
    10  amended by adding a new undesignated paragraph to read as follows:
    11    North  Country  School,  Lake  Placid,  New York, for the acquisition,
    12  financing and/or refinancing, design, construction,  renovation,  recon-
    13  struction, development, improvement, furnishing, expansion and/or equip-
    14  ping  of  a  facility  or facilities and necessary ancillary and related
    15  facilities.
    16    § 3. Any contracts entered into by the dormitory authority pursuant to
    17  this act shall be deemed state contracts within the meaning of that term
    18  as set forth in article 15-A of the executive  law,  and  North  Country
    19  School, Lake Placid, New York shall be deemed, for purposes of this act,
    20  a contracting agency as that term is used in such article.
    21    § 4. This act shall take effect immediately.
