       AN ACT to amend chapter 147 of the laws of 2001 amending  the  education
         law  relating  to  conditional appointment of school district, charter
         school or BOCES employees, in relation to extending the  effectiveness
         thereof
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Section 12 of chapter 147 of the laws of 2001, amending the
    2  education law relating to conditional appointment  of  school  district,
    3  charter school or BOCES employees, as amended by chapter 179 of the laws
    4  of 2009, is amended to read as follows:
    5    S  12.  This  act shall take effect on the same date as chapter 180 of
    6  the laws of 2000 takes effect, and shall expire July 1, [2010] 2011 when
    7  upon such date the provisions of this act shall be deemed repealed.
    8    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
