       Introduced  by  Sen.  ZELDIN -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
         printed to be committed to the Committee on Local Government
       AN ACT Authorizing the town of Brookhaven to  re-convey  to  Rock  Solid
         Corporation parcels of land not needed for open space purposes
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the  contrary,  the
    2  town  of  Brookhaven,  county of Suffolk, acting by and through its town
    3  board, is hereby authorized to re-convey to Rock Solid Corporation  upon
    4  such  terms  it  deems  reasonable,  but without monetary consideration,
    5  those parcels of land described in section two of this act, which are no
    6  longer needed for open space purposes.
    7    S 2. The parcels of land, with the buildings and improvements thereon,
    8  erected situate, lying and being in the town of  Brookhaven,  county  of
    9  Suffolk,  state of New York, known and designated as Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,
   10  6 and 8 on a certain map entitled "Map of Village  Woods  Situate  Bell-
   11  port".  Said  map was filed in the office of the clerk for the county of
   12  Suffolk on the twenty-first day of January, two thousand  nine,  as  map
   13  number 11675.
   14    S 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
