STATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 7619 2023-2024 Regular Sessions IN SENATE July 31, 2023 ___________ Introduced by Sen. BORRELLO -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules AN ACT to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to making conforming technical changes; and to repeal subdi- vision 5 of section 192 of the agriculture and markets law, in relation to the requirement that any person, firm or corporation that sells or offers for sale at retail any motor fuel for use in internal combustion engines in motor vehicles or motorboats posts on the dispensing device signage stating the price per gallon of such motor fuel The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Subdivision 5 of section 192 of the agriculture and markets 2 law is REPEALED and subdivision 6 is renumbered subdivision 5. 3 § 2. The opening paragraph of subdivision a of section 20-672 of the 4 administrative code of the city of New York, as amended by local law 5 number 79 of the city of New York for the year 2015, is amended to read 6 as follows: 7 [Except as provided in subdivision five of section one hundred nine-8ty-two of the agriculture and markets law, it] It shall be unlawful for 9 any person, in connection with the sale or offer for sale at retail of 10 any petroleum products for use in motor vehicles or motor boats, to post 11 or maintain at such place of sale any sign, placard or other display 12 that states the price at which such petroleum products are sold or 13 offered for sale, except as follows: 14 § 3.
