        Introduced  by  Sen.  LITTLE -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Civil Service and Pensions
        AN ACT to authorize the county of Clinton to reinstate and employ  Aaron
          Heroux as a deputy sheriff
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph (b) of subdivi-
     2  sion 4 of section 58 of the civil service law or any other provision  of
     3  law to the contrary, the county of Clinton is hereby authorized to rein-
     4  state Aaron Heroux, who held a permanent appointment as a deputy sheriff
     5  in  such  county  until  February  6, 2013, as a deputy sheriff with the
     6  sheriff's department of such county, provided that he  files  a  written
     7  request  to that effect with the sheriff of the county of Clinton within
     8  one year of the effective  date  of  this  act  and  complies  with  the
     9  provisions  of paragraph (c) of subdivision 1 of section 58 of the civil
    10  service law.
    11    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
