SAVINO -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Civil Service and Pensions AN ACT to amend chapter 104 of the laws of 2005 enacting the September 11th worker protection task force act, in relation to increasing the composition of the September 11th worker protection task force and extending the expiration of such chapter THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: 1 Section 1. The opening paragraph and paragraph 10 of subdivision (a) 2 of section 3 of part B of chapter 104 of the laws of 2005 enacting the 3 September 11th worker protection task force act, as amended by chapter 4 93 of the laws of 2005, are amended and a new paragraph 11 is added to 5 read as follows: 6 The September 11th workers protection task force is hereby created 7 consisting of [19] 20 members. Such members shall be appointed as 8 follows: 9 10. the commissioner of the state department of civil service, or his 10 or her representative[.]; AND 11 11. THE MEDICAL DIRECTOR OF THE MOUNT SINAI IRVING J. SELIKOFF CENTER 12 FOR OCCUPATIONAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL MEDICINE, OR HIS OR HER DESIGNEE. 13 S 2. Section 11 of part B of chapter 104 of the laws of 2005 enacting 14 the September 11th worker protection task force act, is amended to read 15 as follows: 16 S 11. This act shall take effect September 11, 2005, and shall expire 17 and be deemed repealed on June 10, [2010] 2015. 18 S 3. This act shall take effect immediately, provided, however, that 19 the amendments to section 3 of part B of chapter 104 of the laws of 2005 20 made by section one of this act shall not affect the repeal of such part 21 and shall be deemed repealed therewith.
