        Introduced  by  Sen.  AVELLA -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Children and Families
        AN ACT to amend the social services law and the administrative  code  of
          the  city  of  New York, in relation to requiring access for state and
          city agencies into child day care centers
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section  1. Subdivision 2 of section 390 of the social services law is
     2  amended by adding a new paragraph (f) to read as follows:
     3    (f) Child day care providers who have  been  issued  a  license  shall
     4  consent to a demand for access to their premises by any agency of either
     5  the state or the city of New York.
     6    §  2.  The  administrative  code of the city of New York is amended by
     7  adding a new section 21-120.4 to read as follows:
     8    § 21-120.4 Child day care access. Child day care  providers  who  have
     9  been issued a license by the city of New York or the state shall consent
    10  to  a  demand  for  access to their premises by any agency of either the
    11  state or the city of New York.
    12    § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
