       Introduced  by  Sen. LAVALLE -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
         printed to be committed to the Committee on Environmental Conservation
       AN ACT to amend chapter 59 of the laws of  2009  amending  the  environ-
         mental conservation law relating to establishing a recreational marine
         fishing  license and setting the fees for such license, in relation to
         the effectiveness thereof
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1.    Section  8 of part LL of chapter 59 of the laws of 2009
    2  amending the environmental conservation law relating to  establishing  a
    3  recreation marine fishing license and setting the fees for such license,
    4  is amended to read as follows:
    5    S  8.  This  act  shall  take  effect  [October 1, 2009] JULY 1, 2010;
    6  provided, however, that effective immediately, any regulations necessary
    7  for the timely implementation of this act  on  its  effective  date  are
    8  authorized to be promulgated before such date.
    9    S  2.  This  act  shall take effect immediately and shall be deemed to
   10  have been in full force and effect on and after October 1, 2009.
