       AN ACT in relation to approving additional building aid for  the  South-
         ampton school district
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, for building
    2  aid payable in the  2014-15  school  year  and  thereafter,  upon  voter
    3  approval of the dissolution and annexation of the Tuckahoe common school
    4  district  into  the  Southampton school district in Suffolk county, such
    5  school districts or successor school district shall be eligible  for  an
    6  additional  apportionment  of  building  aid  for  approved expenditures
    7  pursuant to subdivision 6 of section  3602  of  the  education  law  for
    8  projects  approved  by  the  commissioner  of education prior to July 1,
    9  2015.   Such additional apportionment shall equal  the  product  of  the
   10  approved expenditures multiplied by ten hundredths (0.10).
   11    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
