GALLIVAN -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Education -- committee discharged, bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee AN ACT in relation to legalizing, validating, ratifying and confirming a transportation contract of the Perry central school district THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: 1 Section 1. All the acts done and proceedings heretofore had and taken 2 or caused to be had and taken by the Perry central school district and 3 by all officers, employees or agents of such school district relating to 4 or in connection with transportation contract E262090 of the 2012-2013 5 school year, and all acts incidental thereto are hereby legalized, vali- 6 dated, ratified and confirmed, notwithstanding any failure to comply 7 with the contract award, approval, and filing provisions of the educa- 8 tion law, the general municipal law or any other law or any other statu- 9 tory authority, rule or regulation, other than those filing provisions 10 defined in paragraph a of subdivision 5 of section 3604 of the education 11 law, in relation to any omission, error, defect, irregularity or ille- 12 gality in such proceeding had and taken. 13 S 2. The department of education is hereby directed to consider the 14 aforementioned contract for transportation aid as valid and proper obli- 15 gations of the Perry central school district. 16 S 3.
