        Introduced  by Sens. FUNKE, MARCHIONE -- read twice and ordered printed,
          and when printed to be  committed  to  the  Committee  on  Finance  --
          committee  discharged,  bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and
          recommitted to said committee
        AN ACT making an appropriation to the Finger Lakes Racetrack
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section  1.  The  sum  of  one  million  two  hundred thousand dollars
     2  ($1,200,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary, is  hereby  appro-
     3  priated  out  of any moneys in the state treasury in the general fund to
     4  the credit of the state purposes account not otherwise appropriated, and
     5  made available to the Finger Lakes  Racetrack,  a  business  corporation
     6  authorized  to conduct racing at a thoroughbred track located in Ontario
     7  County and licensed pursuant to section 201 of the  racing,  pari-mutuel
     8  wagering  and  breeding  law  to  be used exclusively for purses.   Such
     9  moneys shall be payable on the audit and warrant of the  comptroller  on
    10  vouchers certified or approved by the New York State gaming commissioner
    11  in the manner prescribed by law.
    12    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
