       Introduced  by  Sen.  ADAMS  -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
         printed to be committed to the Committee on Racing, Gaming and  Wager-
         ing
       AN  ACT  to  amend the racing, pari-mutuel wagering and breeding law, in
         relation to internet video displays of horse racing
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Section 1003 of the racing, pari-mutuel wagering and breed-
    2  ing law is amended by adding a new subdivision 6 to read as follows;
    3    6.  IN-HOME SIMULCASTING, AS AUTHORIZED PURSUANT TO SUBDIVISION ONE OF
    4  THIS SECTION, SHALL NOT BE DEFINED TO INCLUDE INTERNET VIDEO DISPLAYS OF
    5  HORSE RACING. NOTHING IN THIS SECTION  SHALL  BE  CONSTRUED  TO  PREVENT
    6  RACING  ASSOCIATIONS OR CORPORATIONS FROM DISPLAYING LIVE INTERNET VIDEO
    7  OF THEIR RACES ON THEIR INDIVIDUAL WEBSITES.
    8    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
