        AN ACT to repeal section 270.25 of the criminal procedure  law  relating
          to peremptory challenges of jurors

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Section 270.25 of the criminal procedure law is REPEALED.
     2    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
