        AN  ACT  to  amend  chapter  698 of the laws of 1991 amending the public
          authorities law and the education law, relating  to  the  construction
          and  financing  of  facilities  by the dormitory authority for private
          schools approved pursuant to article  89  of  the  education  law,  in
          relation  to  including  Mary  Cariola Children's Center Inc. and Mary
          Cariola Foundation Inc.

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section  1. Section 6 of chapter 698 of the laws of 1991, amending the
     2  public  authorities  law  and  the  education  law,  relating   to   the
     3  construction  and financing of facilities by the dormitory authority for
     4  private schools approved pursuant to article 89 of the education law, as
     5  amended by chapter 196 of the laws  of  2021,  is  amended  to  read  as
     6  follows:
     7    §  6.  The  following private not-for-profit schools shall be eligible
     8  private not-for-profit schools for purposes of title 4 of article  8  of
     9  the public authorities law:
    10  Anderson  School,  also known as The Anderson School, Staatsburg-on-Hud-
    11  son, New York
    12  The Astor Learning Center, Rhinebeck, New York
    13  The Astor Home for Children, Rhinebeck, New York
    14  The Devereux Foundation, Red Hook, New York
    15  Gateway Youth and Family Services, Williamsville, New York
    16  Green Chimneys School for Little Folk,  A  Corporation,  also  known  as
    17  Green Chimneys School For Little Folk, Brewster, New York
    18  Harmony Heights, Inc., Oyster Bay, New York
    19  Harmony Heights School, Oyster Bay, New York
    20  The Lake Grove School, Lake Grove, New York
    21  Lutheran Social Services of Upper New York, Jamestown, New York
    22  Mary Cariola Children's Center Inc., Rochester, New York

    13  approved  pursuant  to  article  89  of the education law, as amended by
    14  chapter 226 of the laws of 2019, is amended to read as follows:
    15    § 7. The following private not-for-profit schools  shall  be  eligible
    16  private  not-for-profit  schools for purposes of title 4 of article 8 of
    17  the public authorities law and, with respect to them, for  the  purposes
    18  of article 15-A of the executive law only, the dormitory authority shall
    19  be  deemed  a  state agency as the term is used in such article, and its
    20  contracts for design, construction,  services  and  materials  shall  be
    21  deemed  state  contracts within the meaning of that term as set forth in
    22  such article:
