       AN  ACT  to  amend  the civil service law, in relation to exclusivity of
         relief for strike violations
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1.  The  civil service law is amended by adding a new section
    2  211-a to read as follows:
    3    S 211-A. EXCLUSIVITY OF RELIEF. NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF
    4  LAW, THE PROVISIONS OF SECTIONS TWO HUNDRED TEN AND TWO  HUNDRED  ELEVEN
    5  OF  THIS  ARTICLE  SHALL  CONSTITUTE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES FOR
    6  REDRESS OF ANY VIOLATION OF SUBDIVISION ONE OF SECTION TWO  HUNDRED  TEN
    7  OF  THIS  ARTICLE, AND NO OTHER OR ADDITIONAL PENALTIES OR DAMAGES SHALL
    8  BE ASSESSED FOR ANY SUCH VIOLATION.
    9    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
