STATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 9779 IN ASSEMBLY February 7, 2018 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. CUSICK -- read once and referred to the Committee on Labor AN ACT to amend the labor law, in relation to exemptions from licensure requirements The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Subdivision 4 of section 933 of the labor law, as amended 2 by chapter 90 of the laws of 2015, is amended to read as follows: 3 4. a federal, state or local governmental unit or public authority and 4 employees thereof that perform mold assessment, remediation, or abate- 5 ment on any property owned, managed or remediated by such governmental 6 unit or authority; provided, however, that the exemption under this 7 subdivision shall not apply to the New York city housing authority. 8 § 2.
