       AN ACT to amend the racing, pari-mutuel wagering and  breeding  law,  in
         relation to the distribution of surcharges on off-track winnings
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Subparagraph (vi)  of  paragraph  b  of  subdivision  3  of
    2  section  532  of  the  racing, pari-mutuel wagering and breeding law, as
    3  added by chapter 365 of the laws of 2009, is amended to read as follows:
    4    (vi) for the period of September first, two  thousand  [seven]  TWELVE
    5  until August thirty-first, two thousand [twelve] SEVENTEEN and where the
    6  track conducting the race on which the bet was placed is a harness track
    7  located in the county of Erie, to such track.
    8    S 2. This act shall take effect September 1, 2012.
        EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets
                             [ ] is old law to be omitted.
