S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 8284 2015-2016 Regular Sessions I N A S S E M B L Y June 17, 2015 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. CROUCH -- read once and referred to the Committee on Ways and Means AN ACT making an appropriation for the Catskill Park and Catskill Forest Preserve THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: 1 Section 1. The sum of twelve million dollars ($12,000,000), or so much 2 thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated to the department of 3 environmental conservation out of any moneys in the state treasury in 4 the general fund to the credit of the environmental protection fund, not 5 otherwise appropriated, and made available as follows: (a) $4,000,000 6 shall be made available immediately; (b) $4,000,000 shall be made avail- 7 able on January 1, 2016; and (c) $4,000,000 shall be made available on 8 January 1, 2017. The funds appropriated pursuant to this section are to 9 be used solely on the Catskill Park or the Catskill Forest Preserve. 10 Such funds may be used to maintain such park or preserve, construct 11 outdoor recreational facilities at such park or preserve, or increase 12 tourism at such park or preserve. Such moneys shall be payable on the 13 audit and warrant of the comptroller on vouchers certified or approved 14 by the commissioner of the department of environmental conservation in 15 the manner prescribed by law. 16 S 2.
