O'DONNELL -- read once and referred to the Committee on Judiciary -- ordered to a third reading, amended and ordered reprinted, retaining its place on the order of third reading AN ACT to amend the real property law, in relation to requiring commer- cial spaces to post broker and property management information after one month of a new vacancy The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. The real property law is amended by adding a new section 2 235-i to read as follows: 3 § 235-i. Duty of landlord to post broker and property management 4 information. Upon the vacancy of any commercial property for a period of 5 one month, it shall be the duty of such landlord to post broker and 6 property management information of such property in the window of such 7 property including but not limited to the names, addresses, and phone 8 numbers of such brokerage and property manager or property management 9 company. Such sign or poster must have conspicuous lettering in at least 10 seventy-two point bold face type that states the purpose of the notice 11 as set forth in this section. 12 § 2.
