          tee on Governmental Operations

        AN  ACT  to  amend the public officers law, in relation to the filing of
          financial disclosure statements

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section  1.  Paragraph  (l)  of  subdivision  1 of section 73-a of the
     2  public officers law, as amended by section 5 of part A of chapter 399 of
     3  the laws of 2011, is amended to read as follows:
     4    (l) The term "filing rate" shall mean the higher of the  job  rate  of
     5  SG-24  as set forth in [paragraph] paragraphs a and c of subdivision one
     6  of section one hundred thirty of the civil service law as of April first
     7  of the year in which an annual financial disclosure statement  shall  be
     8  filed.
     9    §  2. This act shall take effect on the first of April next succeeding
    10  the date on which it shall have become a law.
