       AN ACT to amend the public health law, in relation to  general  hospital
         inpatient reimbursement
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Subdivision 7 of section 2807-c of the public health law is
    2  amended by adding a new paragraph (e) to read as follows:
    3    (E) NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF  THIS  SUBDIVISION  OR  ANY
    4  OTHER INCONSISTENT LAW, RULE OR REGULATION, AND EFFECTIVE JANUARY FIRST,
    5  TWO  THOUSAND  FOURTEEN,  THE  GENERAL HOSPITAL KNOWN AS THE WESTCHESTER
    6  MEDICAL CENTER OPERATED BY THE WESTCHESTER  COUNTY  HEALTH  CARE  CORPO-
    7  RATION  SHALL  BE ASSIGNED TO THE SAME PEER GROUP OF MAJOR PUBLIC HOSPI-
    8  TALS AS THE GENERAL HOSPITALS OPERATED BY THE NEW YORK CITY  HEALTH  AND
    9  HOSPITALS CORPORATION FOR ALL THE PURPOSES OF THIS SUBDIVISION.
   10    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
