HEASTIE -- read once and referred to the Committee on Environmental Conservation AN ACT to amend the executive law, in relation to designating the Bronx river as an inland waterway for purposes of waterfront revitalization THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: 1 Section 1. Paragraph (b) of subdivision 4 of section 911 of the execu- 2 tive law, as separately amended by chapters 265, 272, 298, 310, and 311 3 of the laws of 2014, is amended to read as follows: 4 (b) the state's major rivers comprised of the Allegheny, Ausable, 5 Battenkill, Black, Boquet, BRONX, Canisteo, Chaumont (including Chaumont 6 bay), Chemung, Cohocton, Delaware, Deer, Genesee, Grasse, Great Chazy, 7 Hoosic, Hudson north of the federal dam at Troy, Indian, Little (in the 8 Adirondack park), Little Ausable, Little Salmon (including north and 9 south branches), Mad, Mettowee, Mohawk, Oswegatchie, Racquette, Sacanda- 10 ga, Salmon, Saranac, Schroon, Susquehanna, Tioga, Tioughnioga, Wallkill 11 and Buffalo rivers, and the north and middle branches of the Moose 12 river; 13 S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD02875-01-5
