       AN  ACT  to  amend  the  public  health  law,  in  relation  to  smoking
         restrictions
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Subdivision 2 of section 1399-o of  the  public  health  is
    2  amended by adding a new paragraph c to read as follows:
    3    C.  WITHIN  FIFTEEN FEET OF ANY DESIGNATED SCHOOL BUS STOP BETWEEN THE
    4  HOURS OF SIX ANTE MERIDIAN AND EIGHT ANTE MERIDIAN, BETWEEN THE HOURS OF
    5  TWO POST MERIDIAN AND SIX POST MERIDIAN, AND ANY OTHER TIME DURING WHICH
    6  STUDENTS MAY BE BOARDING OR ALIGHTING FROM A SCHOOL BUS AT  SUCH  SCHOOL
    7  BUS STOPS.
    8    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
