          PALMESANO -- read once and referred to the Committee on Labor
        AN ACT to amend the labor law, in relation to requiring  the  department
          of  labor  to  notify all employers of certain requirements for hiring
          persons receiving unemployment benefits
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section  1.  Section  21  of  the labor law is amended by adding a new
     2  subdivision 16 to read as follows:
     3    16. Shall annually notify every employer, as such term is  defined  in
     4  section five hundred twelve of this chapter, of the conditions necessary
     5  to hire a person who is receiving unemployment benefits.
     6    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
