       AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation to the New  York
         city paratransit transportation program
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. The public authorities law  is  amended  by  adding  a  new
    2  section 1269-h to read as follows:
    3    S  1269-H.  PHOTOGRAPHS  AT  PARATRANSIT  OFFICES. THE AUTHORITY SHALL
    4  PROMULGATE RULES AND REGULATIONS REQUIRING EACH OFFICE OPERATING A PARA-
    5  TRANSIT TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM TO INSTALL AND OPERATE PHOTO  CAMERAS  IN
    6  EACH  PARATRANSIT  OFFICE  FOR  THE  PURPOSE OF PHOTOGRAPHING APPLICANTS
    7  ATTENDING THE REQUIRED EVALUATION. SUCH RULES AND REGULATIONS SHALL  SET
    8  FORTH  THAT  THE  TAKING OF SUCH PHOTOGRAPHS AT SUCH PARATRANSIT OFFICES
    9  SHALL BE FREE TO APPLICANTS.
   10    S 2. This act shall take effect on the one hundred twentieth day after
   11  it shall have become a law. Effective immediately, the addition,  amend-
   12  ment and/or repeal of any rule or regulation necessary for the implemen-
   13  tation  of this act on its effective date is authorized to be made on or
   14  before such date.
