         tee on Real Property Taxation
       AN ACT to amend the real property tax law, in relation to increasing the
         maximum term for installment  agreements  for  payment  of  delinquent
         taxes  in  the  county of Rockland to thirty-six months; and providing
         for the repeal of such provisions upon the expiration thereof
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1. Paragraph (a) of subdivision 3 of section 1184 of the real
    2  property tax law, as amended by chapter 532 of  the  laws  of  1994,  is
    3  amended to read as follows:
    4    (a) the maximum term of installment agreements, which shall not exceed
    5  [twenty-four] THIRTY-SIX months;
    6    S  2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire December
    7  31, 2012 when upon such date the provisions of this act shall be  deemed
    8  repealed.
