        AN ACT to amend the town law, in relation to permitting  fire  districts
          to form ambulance companies
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. Section 176 of the town law is  amended  by  adding  a  new
     2  subdivision 10-a to read as follows:
     3    10-a.  May  organize, operate, maintain and equip ambulance companies,
     4  including the purchase of uniforms to be used by  the  members  of  such
     5  companies, and provide for the removal of such members for cause.
     6    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
