Summary

Amends the definition of all-terrain vehicles to include certain vehicles of up to seventy inches long and 1500 pounds which consist of a side-by-side passenger configuration and which include certain safety features; regulates the operation of all terrain vehicles by the general public in the state forest preserve, Long Island central pine barrens area and Albany pine bush preserve; grants exceptions for the disabled, official purposes and law enforcement; provides for the establishment of the all-terrain vehicle trail development and maintenance fund and the ATV environmental restoration fund; and provides a tax credit for landowners who provide ATV access.
