Summary
To require school district volunteers who have direct and unsuperivsed contact with children to undergo the same criminal history background check provisions as school employees.
Title
Directs the commissioner of education to develop rules and regulations regarding the fingerprinting of school district volunteers, just as there are regulations pertaining to such matters in relation to prospective paid employees.
