Summary

This bill would establish through the SUNY/CUNY Board of Trustees a grant program at SUNY and CUNY to develop and implement new on-line and distant-learning programs or to expand current on-line and distant-learning classes. The grants may be used for course conversion, hardware and software and to develop networking with campuses that have similar programs. This up-to-date method would enable the many non-traditional or part-time students a more opportune time in which to finish their degrees.
