Summary

(1) to cap real property tax assessments on primary residences, (2) to institute an income tax credit to cap property taxes based upon household income, (3) to authorize school district residence to institute a cap on the property tax levy by a petition and referendum process, and (4) to establish a procedure to permit senior citizens eligible for the enhanced STAR exemption to defer the payment of up to $2,500 annually in property taxes
