Summary

The bill adds a definition of integrated pest management to Article 33 of the ECL. The bill creates a new Title in ECL Article 33 which establishes requirements for pest control activities within and immediately adjacent to food selling establishments. The bill prohibits broadcast sprays of pesticides in and immediately adjacent to all food selling establishments. The bill prohibits pesticide applications in fresh produce sections of food selling establishments. Only certified applicators may apply pesticides within and immediately adjacent to food selling establishments. Notice must be provided at customer entrances prior to each pesticide application providing information about the pesticide application.
