Summary
To increase the number of days that school districts in New York State may be required to provide transportation to students who attend non-public schools, and to increase the distances in which a child will be transported to his/her school from 15 to 25 miles. In addition, this bill provides for the transportation of pupils to a non-public school from the home of such pupil, regardless of whether such non-public school is within or without such district.
