Summary

The purpose of this legislation is to reduce the prevalence of urban and suburban sprawl and to help improve the social, economic, environmental, and cultural conditions of communities in urban areas by requiring that site selection for new state government buildings consider a variety of factors relating to the best possible use of existing facilities and infrastucture.
