SYNOPSIS

     Appropriates $2 million to CRDA to support costs associated with hosting NAACP National Convention in Atlantic City.

A Supplement to the annual appropriations act for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022, P.L.2021, c.133.

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and the General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

     1.    In addition to the amounts appropriated under P.L.2021, c.133, the annual appropriations act for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022, there is appropriated from the General Fund the following amount for the purpose specified:

 

22 DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS

50 Economic Planning, Development, and Security

55 Social Services Programs

 

GRANTS-IN-AID

50-8050  Community Resources ......................................... $2,000,000

                   Total Grants-in-Aid Appropriation,

                        Social Services Programs ........................... $2,000,000

Grants-in-Aid:

         05    1CRDA -1 NAACP 1[New Jersey State

                   Conference] National Convention1..... ($2,000,000)

 

1The amounts hereinabove appropriated for CRDA - NAACP National Convention shall be distributed to the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority for the purpose of supporting any costs associated with hosting the NAACP National Convention in Atlantic City.1

 

     2.    This act shall take effect immediately.
