SYNOPSIS

     Appropriates $1,000,000 for outreach and enrollment activities in Medicaid and NJ FamilyCare programs.

     As reported by the Senate Health, Human Services and Senior Citizens Committee on November 21, 2011, with amendments.

  

A Supplement to "An Act making appropriations for the support of the State Government and the several public purposes for the fiscal year ending ¹[June 30, 2011] June 30, 2012¹ and regulating the disbursement thereof," approved ¹[June 30, 2010 (P.L.2010, c.35)] June 30, 2011 (P.L.2011, c.85)¹.

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and the General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

     1.  The following language is added on page ¹[116 of P.L.2010, c.35] 113 of P.L.2011, c.85¹:

 

054 DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES

24 Special Health Services

7540 Division of Medical Assistance and Health Services

GRANTS-IN-AID

 

Of the amount hereinabove appropriated for NJ FamilyCare - Affordable and Accessible Health Coverage Benefits, $1,000,000 shall be allocated for an enhanced outreach and enrollment initiative for the Medicaid, NJ FamilyCare, and NJ FamilyCare Advantage programs authorized pursuant to section 26 of P.L.2008, c.38 (C.30:4J-18).

 

     2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
