SYNOPSIS

     Requires applications to decline receipt of mail-in ballots for future elections be available at polling places on election day.

An Act concerning the availability of applications to decline receipt of mail-in ballots for future elections at polling places and supplementing P.L.2009, c.79 (C.19:63-1 et seq.).

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

     1.  The County Clerk shall cause to be made available at each polling place on the day of any election copies of applications to decline the receipt of mail-in ballots for future elections.

 

     2.  This act shall take effect on the January 1 next following the date of enactment.

 

 

STATEMENT

 

     This bill requires applications to decline the receipt of mail-in ballots for future elections be available at polling places on election day.  Under the bill, the County Clerk would make available at each polling place on the day of any election copies of applications to decline the receipt of mail-in ballots for future elections.
