STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twelve

AN ACT naming marine patrol headquarters in honor of David Barrett.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Marine Patrol Headquarters Building Named in Honor of David Barrett. Pursuant to RSA 4:43, the bureau of marine patrol headquarters in the town of Gilford, and any new building housing such headquarters, shall be named the David Barrett Marine Patrol Headquarters in honor of David Barrett. Appropriate signage or markers may be placed at the site.

2 Signage. The cost of design, construction, maintenance, and installation of any signage, replacement signage, or other markers authorized under section 1 of this act shall not be a charge to the state. However, the design, construction, and installation of any signage or other markers authorized under this act shall be approved by the department of safety.

3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
